Course Description

This advanced two-day course identifies and resolves RF interference using the latest technology and techniques. Participants will gain hands-on experience with modern tools, preparing them for the ETA certification exam.

Learning Objectives

  • Grasp RF signal theory, modulation techniques, and propagation concepts.
  • Understand and identify sources of interference, including passive intermodulation and multipath.
  • Learn to operate spectrum analyzers and direction-finding tools for interference hunting.
  • Prepare for and pass the 100-question ETA certification exam.

Topics Covered

  • RF theory and modulation (LTE and 5G structures)
  • Sources and impacts of interference
  • Spectrum analyzer operation and software-defined radio usage
  • Field measurement techniques (e.g., Doppler, Watson Watt)
  • Practical interference mitigation strategies

Who Should Attend

Engineers, field technicians, and communications professionals aiming to excel in RF interference mitigation.

Prerequisites

No prior experience is required.
